2023/24 Funding Drive Success

The 2023/24 funding drive has been a great success! We have raised $100,000 from more than 2500 donors. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our campaign. Your support is greatly appreciated. We look forward to another successful year of KiCad development.

This year, we offered a reward for continued support. Our monthly donors received a KiCad shirt, designed by the very talented Mellin Paulo Bernardo.

We are thrilled that more than 150 KiCadders have signed up to support KiCad development on a monthly basis. This ongoing support is crucial to the continued success of the project. Thank you to all of our monthly donors!

People also had the option to get a t-shirt by donating one lump sum of $120 or more. We have shipped more than 220 t-shirts to donors around the world. If you see someone wearing a KiCad t-shirt, be sure to thank them for their support!

One of the fun things about the funding drive is seeing the support from the community. We have received donations from all over the world. KiCad has a global community of engineers, designers and supporters. The chart below shows the distribution of donations by continent.

If you missed the funding drive, don’t worry! You can still support KiCad development by donating on our website. We appreciate all donations, no matter how big or small.
